The wife is constantly asking me what the hell I’m looking at sometimes when it appears that I’m rubbernecking at nothing. My response is usually “A piece of light.” Then the weird sideways looks come as I crane my neck and tilt my head for a better view of the fleeting piece of light. I’ve heard the learned try to help people see in black and white with insight and gadgets. perhaps they should just go look for a piece of light. maybe you can’t see my piece of light from where you are. maybe you got your own piece of light that you like from where you’re standing.
